BT or LLU?

Minotaur IT will always try to give you the best speed available on your line. Unlike many providers, we’re able to supply ADSL not just through BT’s Wholesale network, but also through TalkTalk, CPW, or Vodafone networks via a process called Local Loop Unbundling. Non-BT connections often benefit from lower contention and faster speeds.   more >

Load Balancing and Failover

If you’re some distance from your exchange and can only receive lower speeds on your line, you needn’t struggle with one connection. We can supply multiple ADSL connections, where possible via diverse routes (e.g. via both BT and LLU) and load balance these at your premises.

When all connections are online different types of traffic can be proritised along each connection for best performance. If a connection goes offline, all traffic automatically reroutes to use the surviving connections.   more >

BT Analogue Lines

ADSL broadband requires an analogue line in place in order to deliver the service. If you don’t already have a line, we can arrange installation for you and include it in your broadband bill with a substantial cost saving over BT’s retail price. We can even arrange a Simultaneous Activation so you aren’t waiting for your new connection any longer than absolutely necessary.   more >
